NOVA Ceilings produces five-layer NOVA SmartPeel ceiling tiles for industries requiring clean ceilings such as medical spaces, manufacturing facilities, labs, commercial kitchens, and other clean room environments. NOVA Ceiling’s products are innovative, entrepreneurial inventions that provide a breakthrough method for the laborious task of cleaning ceilings.
NOVA Ceilings, previously known as Industrial Skins, came to UNANIMOUS when they decided to strengthen and establish the brand and create a consistent and cohesive approach to their marketing and communication efforts.
Naming & Communication Strategy
Our research indicated that the look and feel of the current Industrial Skins brand didn’t represent the product as it should and created confusion as to what the product really was. UNANIMOUS created a new brand, product, and tagline names to better illustrate what the product is.
NOVA Ceilings rebranded from Industrial Skins creating a name that better represented their business and product lines. Product names were also changed to SmartPeel Ceiling Tiles to reflect the innovative nature behind the products. The tagline Peel. Recycle. Repeat. was also introduced to share with audiences just how easy it is to use the product.
In addition to the naming strategy, UNANIMOUS also developed a communication strategy to help position and differentiate the NOVA Ceilings brand. Five key messages and descriptions for each were developed along with a new brand statement and elevator speech to showcase the new brand persona NOVA Ceilings established.
Branding & Marketing Materials
With the naming and communication strategies in place, NOVA Ceilings was in the perfect position to develop a refreshed brand. A new logo and branding elements were developed for the organization, as well as a specific mark for their core product, NOVA Smart Peel Ceiling Tiles. The SmartPeel Ceiling Tiles logo incorporates a small corner peel, alluding its five peelable layers.
Corresponding materials were then designed to showcase the new name. Print materials such as a brochure and sell sheet were created to provide information to potential clients. A cohesive suite of business stationery was developed to match the brand including business cards, email signature and templates, envelopes, letterheads, and more. In addition, UNANIMOUS helped NOVA Ceilings launch their digital marketing efforts through social media, content marketing, and Google Ads.
Website Design & Development
Finally, our expert web developers designed a new custom website to show off the new brand. The website places an emphasis on product features and benefits, with prominent calls to action. A blog section was established for NOVA Ceilings to publish articles and continue positioning the company as an industry leader. A rotating testimonial section and client logo slider showcase the well-known partners NOVA Ceilings works with and features positive comments shared by past clients.
