For example, you can look at several factors like age, gender, location, and interests. You may have one broad audience or multiple specific, niche audiences, depending on what your product or service is.
A buyer persona is a semi-fictional representation of your ideal customers. After you’ve done your research, you can find patterns within that information and use it to understand what kind of person is most prominent. For instance, let’s say you sell books; one persona may be “Teacher Tina,'' another could be “Avid Reader Adam," and a third could be “Mother Melinda.” Each of these kinds of people has different needs in a bookstore. We want to serve them specific messages based on those needs.
