Cody Elementary, home of the Cody Buffaloes and part of Millard Public Schools, recently completed significant building renovations. To complement the updated school environment, Cody Elementary partnered with UNANIMOUS to develop a refreshed mascot design that would reflect the school’s pride, personality, and forward momentum.

The new Cody Buffalo mascot was designed to feel confident and distinctive while remaining approachable for an elementary school audience. The custom, one-of-a-kind illustration balances strength and school spirit with a polished, modern aesthetic.
The final mascot is:
"The UNANIMOUS team was great to work with throughout the entire process of our rebrand. From research and discovery through design and revisions, they addressed pain points we had with our previous logo and really listened to our vision for a new and improved Cody. We are very excited to start implementing for the upcoming school year!"
Because the mascot will frequently appear in single-color applications, it was essential that the design remain recognizable and impactful in a one-color format. Cody Elementary wanted to retain its established school colors, preserving familiarity and existing brand equity. UNANIMOUS expanded the supporting color palette to provide greater flexibility across apparel, signage, print materials, digital communications, and other school-branded applications. The completed mascot brand guide gives Cody Elementary a consistent, versatile system for using its refreshed identity across the school community.
