NIL Campaign Video Production

When adidas introduced Nebraska volleyball standout Harper Murray as one of its newest NIL athletes, the launch called for content as bold, energetic, and focused as the athlete at the center of it. Portland-based agency HappyLucky partnered with UNANIMOUS to capture and edit a social reel that brought the campaign to life. The final video generated more than one million views, tens of thousands of likes, and national attention.

A Viral Campaign Launch

adidas launched the campaign in August 2025 with the message, “She IS the main character,” introducing Murray as one of the newest athletes on its roster. The reel surpassed one million views and earned tens of thousands of likes across Instagram and TikTok. Downloads and reposts extended its reach across countless other social channels, making the campaign’s total impact difficult to quantify. Coverage from Yahoo Sports, Sports Illustrated, and other national outlets pushed the campaign well beyond social media.

On-Set Video Production

Production unfolded during a full-day photoshoot, where the UNANIMOUS video team worked alongside the photography crew to capture the energy behind the campaign. We filmed behind-the-scenes moments and reel-specific shots throughout the day, building a versatile library of footage without slowing down the primary shoot.

Our Head of Video Production led the video capture and editing with support from our Associate Director. A lean, flexible crew allowed us to move quickly as concepts, setups, and athlete moments evolved, giving the post-production team a wide range of footage to shape into the final reel.

Dynamic Capture Techniques

Our team combined handheld and gimbal footage at standard and slow-motion frame rates, creating a balance of polished athlete imagery and raw, immediate energy. We also incorporated undercranked shutter techniques to introduce intentional motion blur, visual texture, and transitions that helped the reel break through the scroll. Each approach added movement and variety while keeping Harper’s confidence and intensity at the center of the story.

Video Post-Production

Post-production spanned several weeks and multiple rounds of revisions as UNANIMOUS and HappyLucky refined the pacing, music, typography, and transitions. Every choice needed to feel intentional, current, and worthy of a global sports brand.

The final reel layered live-action footage with visual effects, sound design, and a voiceover written by the HappyLucky team. Together, those elements created a fast-moving story that matched Harper’s energy and gave the campaign a clear, memorable launch moment.
