Sycamore Education is exceptional online school management and student information system. Based in Fremont, Nebraska, Sycamore worked with UNANIMOUS to consolidate the branding of its various products and services. UNANIMOUS recommended a new name; and created branding, marketing collateral, and website designs. Subsites and domains were purchased to house specific educational products. The additional websites create better brand clarity while increasing Sycamore's online presence.
Before partnering with UNANIMOUS, Sycamore was struggling with brand alignment and market recognition for its various products (J-Cobi, Kidows, Sycamore School) that targeted specific education demographics. This lack of cohesiveness was hurting and fracturing the brand’s image and identity. Additionally, client and peer feedback suggested the brand aesthetic had become stale and outdated. The challenge was to find a name and create an identity and brand alignment that better positioned the company moving forward.
UNANIMOUS proposed the name Sycamore Education as the parent brand to better communicate the company’s focus on educational software. The individual products were named Sycamore Daycare, Sycamore School, and Sycamore Campus. All four names were strategically chosen based on URLs.
Sycamore Education's new identity communicates the company’s commitment to providing affordable, top-notch education management software. Strategic stacking of the logo creates a natural slogan within the logo. This enforces what Sycamore Education’s products will help the customer to achieve more of — More Education, More Daycare, etc. A similar green was carried over for brand consistency for the main logo and a secondary color palette was implemented for the specific products.
